NEBLINA H2O

Colombia stands as a global stronghold of biodiversity, earning recognition as one of the world’s mega-diverse nations, particularly renowned for its rich variety of flora and fauna. The country showcases an exceptional range of ecosystems, spanning from the lush Amazon rainforest and expansive savannas to the intricate landscapes of the three Andes mountain ranges and isolated massifs. Additionally, the coastal regions along both the Caribbean and Pacific contribute to this remarkable diversity, solidifying Colombia’s position as a guardian of approximately 10% of the world’s biodiversity.

The western Andes of Colombia, the youngest of the three cordilleras, emerge as a pivotal epicenter of biodiversity, with its unique blend of topographical diversity and ecological richness. Surpassing the biodiversity of the Amazon per unit area, it encapsulates a living mosaic of evolution, where countless species, many of them new to science, thrive in a delicate balance. The Mesenia-Paramillo Nature Reserve (MPNR), nestled within the towering embrace of the mountains in the states of Antioquia, Risaralda and Caldas, harbors an extraordinary array of plant and animal life, contributing significantly to Colombia's status as a mega diverse country. With 100 species confirmed as being new to science in the last 15 years and over 100 awaiting confirmation, the MPNR beckon as a testament to the intricate interplay between geography, climate, and the resplendent life that has flourished within its embrace.

Our conservation efforts must intensify to safeguard this critical biodiverse hotspot of mist-laden cloud forests which provide the environmental conditions for this species richness. These forests also play a crucial role in the condensation and capture of moisture, generating significant amounts of water that give rise to natural springs. From an artesian well in the Jardín-Támesis mountain ridge emerges NEBLINA H2O. Experts estimate a century-long journey through the mountain filters that naturally enrich the water with minerals, nutrients and trace elements. Each drop contains adequate levels of sodium, magnesium, calcium and other important minerals in perfect balance, creating one of the best mineral waters in the world. Beyond its unique composition, the water’s neutral pH of 7, imbued with the peaceful and calming frequencies of the cloud forest, contributes to one’s health and well being.

We invite you to savor NEBLINA H2O – not only a refreshing experience but also a contribution to the long-term conservation and scientific research at the MPNR. Cheers!
